      What happens if I lose my Muute device?

      You receive 5 emergency unmute passes in the app when you first set up. If you need help, contact contact@trymuute.com.

      Does Muute work on Android and iOS?

      Currently compatible with iPhone (iOS 17.6+). Android support is planned sign up in the app for updates.

      Is there an app for Muute?

      Yes the Muute app (iOS) manages sessions, block lists, schedules and usage history.

      What’s included with my purchase?

      One Muute device, lifetime access to core app features, and a quick-start guide.

      How is Muute different from built-in Screen Time tools?

      Muute adds real-world friction: a physical tap locks distractions so they’re harder to override than pure software limits.

      Do you track which apps I block?

      No. All block lists and usage data are stored locally on your phone, Muute does not access that information.

      Can I delete the app or find a workaround?

      Muute offers a Strict Mode to reduce easy workarounds. The system is designed to increase friction so you don’t casually disable it. Contact support if you need help configuring Strict Mode.

      How do I activate Muute without the device?

      Hold the Muute button in the app for 3 seconds to Brick (mute) remotely. The physical Muute is still required to unmute.

      What can Muute block?

      You can block almost any iPhone app (except Phone per Apple rules) and certain Safari websites allowed by iOS. Create multiple modes (work, family, study).

      Do you ship internationally?

      Yes, we ship worldwide. Any duties or taxes shown at checkout are handled during purchase; if not, local import fees may apply.

      Can I use one Muute with multiple phones?

      Yes. Pair a single Muute with multiple iPhones and you can pair multiple Muutes to one phone (useful for different locations).
